Restore.tv Season 1 – Episode 7: “Farming in the 50’s”

Families that farm together, stay together!

Jerry Larsen of Lehi, Utah stopped by with two very important pictures in his family. One was of his mom and dad, Merlin and Marie Larsen and the other was of his grandparents, Ludvic and Marie Larsen. We loved listening to Jerry recall being raised on a farm in Highland, Utah and also visiting his grandparents farm that was only 2 miles up the road. He remembers his Grandpa Larsen, who was always in bib overalls, as a meticulous man who made sure all the work on the farm not only done but done right. Jerry remembers him also being very kind and shared fun family memories with his siblings, parents and grandparents in a cabin in American Fork Canyon and also Fish Lake. Not only did we have a great time restoring Jerry’s treasured photos but also connecting again as family and cousins with Jerry’s mom Marie being a sister to Mark’s mom Elaine!
